Car Rental Terms & Conditions

1. Booking and confirmation

You can book a vehicle on our website. To book, you create a free account with your email address. Your booking is confirmed when we have received the deposit. You see the status of your booking, the confirmation date, the deposit, the remaining balance and the due date in your guest portal.

The vehicle is held for you only after the deposit is received. Until then the same dates can be booked by another customer.

2. Deposit and payment

• The deposit is 30% of the total rental price, unless a different amount is shown in your booking. Pay it within 3 days after you book.
• The remaining balance is due 14 days before the pickup date. The exact date is shown in your guest portal and on your invoice.
• For bookings made less than 14 days before pickup, the full amount is due at booking.
• We accept bank transfer in USD to our account at Golomt Bank. Card payment will be available soon. Bank fees are paid by the customer.
• A payment counts as received when it appears on our bank account. Our team then marks it as paid in your guest portal.

3. Security deposit

At pickup we take a refundable security deposit for damage, fines and fuel. The amount depends on the vehicle and is told to you before pickup. It is returned within 7 days after the vehicle is returned in the same condition.

4. Driver requirements

• The main driver is at least 23 years old and has held a valid driving licence for at least 2 years.
• Foreign drivers bring their national licence and an international driving permit.
• Every driver is named in the rental agreement. Only named drivers may drive the vehicle.
• A valid passport is shown at pickup.

5. Pickup and return

• The vehicle is handed over with a full tank and a condition report signed by both sides. Please return it with a full tank, or we charge the missing fuel.
• Pickup and return take place at the place and time in your booking. Late return of more than 2 hours is charged as an extra day.
• Pickup or return at another place can be arranged for a fee.

6. Use of the vehicle

• The vehicle may be used only in Mongolia. Crossing a border needs our written permission.
• Do not drive through rivers deeper than the wheel hub, on closed roads, or in races.
• Smoking and pets in the vehicle are not allowed unless agreed.
• Traffic fines and parking fees during the rental are paid by the renter.

7. Insurance and damage

Our vehicles have basic insurance. The renter is responsible for damage up to the security deposit amount, unless the damage is caused by gross negligence, alcohol or use against these terms, in which case the renter pays the full cost.

In case of an accident or breakdown, call us right away on +976 8667 9999 and, if needed, the police (102). Do not repair the vehicle without our permission.

8. Changes and cancellation

• More than 30 days before pickup: full refund of the deposit, minus bank fees.
• 30 to 15 days before pickup: 50% of the deposit is kept.
• Less than 15 days before pickup or no-show: the deposit is kept.
• Unused days after pickup are not refunded.
• If we must cancel, you get a full refund or a similar vehicle.

9. Your data

We use your personal and passport details only for your booking, insurance and the legal requirements of Mongolia. We do not sell or share them for marketing.
